Another Big Deal On the job injuries

There are Same out there faking it I'm sure. This blog is not about that at all. All states have different WC Laws but all of them have the same underlying message. If you get hurt on the job your job should be secure and regardless who's fault it was unless you tried to comit surcide there should be NO financial disadvantage for you. So your weekly compensation is about what you normally would take home. and they say it is tax free. Fair enough. Or is it?
imagine this. You are injured the treatment and recuperation takes years. You get your pay every week. 4 years later the tell you that's it you will never be working again
they give you a settlement which you use to mostly pay of bills which they didn't paid because believe it or not work on your house you could normally go yourself you have to get them done by someone else now. The job you got injured on was the best you ever had, great money. I would be a Boost to your SSA account even over the last 4 years but then you find out that while you were on WC no contributions were made at all
how is that of Not being disadvantaged?

There is something else which is in Most WC statues a little phrase which most of us don''t even understand. "Random Act of Violence."
basically what this means to all you Criminals out there. If you rob a convenience store and beat up the clerk please tell the police you have been staking out the place. Because if you don't the poor clerk will have to pay his own hospital bills he is NOT covered by workers Comp against Random acts of violence. So just walking in the place because it was handy and shooting him in the knee will not do. by you casing out the joint it isn't "Random" anymore.
